Synopsis:

In a galaxy far, far away . . . The story begins around 30 years before the most famous Jedi of all, Luke Skywalker, is born. Luke's father, Anakin Skywalker, is only nine years old. Obi-Wan Kenobi is a mere trainee under his Jedi master, Qui-Gon Jinn. There has been a taxation placed on trade routes that has caused turmoil in the Galactic Republic. Qui-Gon and his apprentice are sent to settle a disagreement between Naboo and the Trade Federation. They arrive on the planet only to realize the planet was already being invaded. After escaping off of the Trade Federation ship, they touch ground on Naboo where they meet an ostracized Gungan, Jar Jar Binks. He takes Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan to the Gungan's underwater city of Otoh Gunga where they meet Boss Nass, the Gungan leader. Qui-Gon pleads for the Gungans to aid in the fight against the Trade Federation. Boss Nass refuses and prepares to punish Jar Jar for returning to the city. Qui-Gon saves him and takes him along in the submarine that Boss Nass presented them. They arrive at Theed, the capital city of Naboo, to address the newly elected queen, sixteen-year-old Amidala. They leave the planet taking the young Amidala to Coruscant, the Galactic Seat of Government, in attempts to persuade the Galactic Senate to help in resisting the Federation invasions. The Queen's ship comes under attack with the first appearance of our little hero, R2-D2, as he does some minor repairs to the ship. With a broken hyperdrive, the crew is forced to land on Tatooine for further repairs. During this time, Darth Sidious (Chancellor Palpatine) sent his villainous student, Darth Maul, out to hunt the queen. On Tatooine, the group rummages through the junk yards in Mos Espa trying to find parts for the ship. There, Qui-Gon mishaps upon the young Anakin, who works as a slave in Watto's junk yard and senses how strong the Force is inside the boy. A sand storm arises and Anakin takes the group to his home for shelter. Here, they learn Anakin is an excellent mechanic (his latest creation - C-3PO) and pod racer. Seeing exactly how good the boy is with his reflexes and mental abilities, Qui-Gon's faith in the boy's Jedi potential grows even greater. Qui-Gon returns to Watto, putting their ship up as the entry fee to sponsor Anakin in the Boonta Eve pod race. Also, if Anakin wins the race he is to be released from slavery. Watto agrees, knowing the boy's skills, but determined that sabotager, Sebulba, would win as always. A young Jabba the Hutt starts off the race. Meanwhile, Darth Maul has arrived on Tatooine and sends out Sith probe droids to search-and-seize the Jedi and the queen. Despite great trouble from Sebulba and other factors, Anakin is successful in completing and winning the race. Anakin's mother, Shmi, also realizes Anakin's potential as a Jedi and allows him to leave with the Jedi to begin his training. By the time the two Jedi, Queen Amidala, and Anakin arrive back to the ship, Darth Maul has located it and is waiting for their return. After a duel between Qui-Gon and Maul, Qui-Gon barely escapes and the group flies off to Coruscant. On Coruscant, they are met by Senator Palpatine who convinces Amidala that Chancellor Valorum will not help her and he must be removed from his position in order to save her planet. Senate passes this decision and Palpatine is nominated as Chancellor. Amidala receives a report of the number of casualties that have occurred on Naboo. She is frantic and returns home to help her people. Jar Jar takes her and the Jedi to the sacred Gungan hiding place and a second attempt at forming an alliance with Boss Nass is presented. He excepts this time and an army of Gungans are sent out to deflect the Federation's battle droids. This gives the Naboo people a chance to prepare a counter attack, but the Naboo army is small and unequipped due to their peaceful nature. Anakin sneaks into a Naboo starfighter and accidentally aids in the destruction of the droid control ship. In the Naboo hanger, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan face Darth Maul once again. A literal fight to the death results in the loss of the Jedi Master, Qui-Gon Jinn. Furious, Obi-Wan violently attacks Maul and succeeds in killing him. Obi-Wan approaches Yoda about training Anakin, as Qui-Gon had wanted to do, and Yoda reluctantly agrees.

While cleaning R2, a holographic message streams from the unit and displays a beautiful, young girl (Princess Leia) asking for Obi-Wan's help in saving her. Not knowing who Obi-Wan Kenobi was, Luke set out in search of the hermit, Ben Kenobi, thinking there might be a connection. He is saved from shadowy figures (Tusken Raiders) by old Ben Kenobi, who he soon learns is exactly who he was searching for (Obi-Wan Kenobi). Luke leaves his home planet of Tatooine with Obi-Wan after the Imperials kill his only living family, his Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru, on their search for R2 and 3PO. Obi-Wan tells Luke the "half-truth," the Jedi side, about his father and gives him Anakin's old lightsaber. He plans to take Luke to Alderaan where he will begin to learn the ways of the Jedi - "Like my father before me." Their flight to Alderaan was provided on none other than the Millennium Falcon, where Luke first meets Han Solo and his Wookie companion, Chewbacca. The Falcon emerges from hyperspace only to see the Imperial's Death Star, a large man-made space station, in the place where Alderaan used to be. The Falcon is sucked into the force field of the Death Star and the passengers hide in the cargo department. Obi-Wan leaves the ship to disable the tractor beams and allow the ship to leave. Even though he warnsd Luke and Han to stay behind, they soon leave the Falcon in search of Leia. Leia is found, but Obi-Wan loses a fight with Vader and is killed. After leaving the Death Star, the Falcon crew, now including Leia, lands on the Rebel base at Yavin Four where Luke passes his flight-simulation tests and is assigned an X-Wing fighter. He is reunited with his childhood friend, Biggs Darklighter (You can learn more about Biggs in "Star Wars: The Adventures of Luke Skywalker" by George Lucas). They are on a mission to destroy the Death Star, one which Han refuses to participate in calling it a "suicide mission." Luke is sad to lose his new friend. The Red Leader's first strike team is killed and Luke, Biggs, and Wedge Antilles begin their attack. Luke leads, with the two backups. Both Biggs and Wedge are killed, leaving Luke to do the job. He sucks up his remorse over losing Biggs, and Han shows up in time to scatter Luke's pursuers. He hears Obi-Wan speak to him. He turns off his targeting computer and reliesd on the force to make the target. The Death Star is destroyed. Luke flies away from the explosion and hearsd Obi-Wan once again - "Remember, the Force will be with you. Always."

The Empire Strikes Back

Starring:

Continual from "A New Hope"

Synopsis:

In a galaxy far, far away . . . The Rebel base at Yavin Four was evacuated and a new base was set up on the planet of Hoth, an ice planet. Luke is mauled by a Wampa and passes out in the snow. He is found and rescued by Han. An attack by the Imperials is upon the base. Luke leads an attack on the ATAT (All Terrain Armored Transports) walkers, but it did not save the base from being destroyed. The base crew evacuate and Luke is off on another mission - Luke makes his first trip to the Dagobah System, after Obi-Wan's spirit appears to him and tells him to go train with Jedi Master, Yoda. After a little trouble, he finds Yoda and begins his Jedi training. He goes through stressful physical and mental training. The most important test is to enter a cave filled with Dark Side energy with instructions from Yoda to go unarmed. Even after Yoda warned him not to take a weapon, Luke takes his lightsaber. Once inside the cave, Luke is approached by a spirited likeness of Darth Vader. Luke whips out his lightsaber and strikes a blow to the head of the figure. The head falls off and the helmet bursts open revealing to him his own image. He realizes how easy it could be for him to succumb to the Dark Side. Before his training is finished, he senses trouble for Leia and Han and leaves Dagobah to help them. He arrives on Cloud City and is led into a trap and a duel with Darth Vader. In the mean time, Han, Leia, and Han's old pal and resident of Cloud City, Lando Calrissian escape. Vader leads Luke out onto a ledge above the reactor shaft. Vader distracts Luke and slices his hand off, lightsaber and all down the shaft. Then, the most famous line of all . . . "Luke, I am your father." Luke calmly, and almost happily, jumps down the chute that leaves him hanging from a weather vane suspended in the open air below the city. Using what he had learned of the Force, he calls out to Leia. She senses Luke's trouble and they take the Millenium Falcon back to rescue him. Luke is given a robotic, yet human-like, hand and a kiss from Leia. During all this time, Han and Leia have developed feelings for each other, and, like little school children they fight and nag and cause each other to be jealous. Leia finally gives into her feelings ("I love you." - Leia, "I know." - Han) right before Han is frozen in a carbon chamber, ordered by Vader as an experiment for later use on Luke. Han is given to Jabba the Hut, a rival he has long-time owed money to, for a wall hanging.

Return of the Jedi

Starring:

Continual from "A New Hope" and "The Empire Strikes Back"

Synopsis:

In a galaxy far, far away . . . Leia releases Han from the carbon chamber and they're immediately imprisoned by Jabba. Han is thrown into a jail cell, where old pal Chewbacca is waiting. Leia is forced to wear a gold bathing suit type thing and chained to Jabba. Luke comes to their rescue, but not before he has a duel to the death with Jabba's huge "pet" Rancor. Without complete release, the three of them are sentenced to death in the Sarlaac Pit. Luke "Jedi's" his, Han's, and Lando's way out of being eaten, while Leia chokes Jabba with her leash. Luke returns to Dagobah to complete his training. Yoda is very sick and is dying. He confirms Luke's fears - Vader told the truth about his paternity and to complete his training he would have to face Vader another time. Luke confronts Obi-Wan and learns another surprising truth - his mother had twins. They were separated at birth to protect them from their father. So, Luke was a twin to his sister, Leia. Luke is disturbed and torn by this news and he decides to accompany a squadron to Endor instead of going with the Alliance to destroy the fully-restored Death Star. There, they are attacked, but later befriended, by the locals - Ewoks. One night at an Ewok camp, where the crew is sleeping and preparing for battle, Leia senses something wrong inside Luke and she approaches him about it. He tells her the truth - first about Vader being his father and then about Vader being THEIR father. Luke leaves to track Vader, he could sense his presence on the moon. He goes with intentions on not destroying their father but on saving him from the Dark Side. Luke surrenders to a fleet of Imperial troops and is handed over to Vader and Emperor Palpatine. He tries to reach and encourage the good in Vader that he still senses. Palpatine cuts into Luke by threatening his friends on Endor and feeding on his hatred of the Dark Side. Luke goes to attack the senator but is stopped by Vader. They fight as Palpatine sits back and giggles (gurgles, really) and continues trying to encourage Luke to join them on the Dark Side. At this Luke retracts his lightsaber and refuses to fight any longer. Vader reads him and comments, "If you will not turn to the Dark Side, then perhaps she will." That rekindles Luke's hate and he begins to fight again. He cuts off Vader's hand. When he finally realizes that Luke has no plan on changing, Palpatine works up electricity from inside himself and proceeds to electrocute Luke. Luke begs and pleads with his father to look inside and find the love. Luke is within inches of his life, and Palpatine prepares to deal the final blow. Vader intercepts and throws the emperor into the shaft below. This does a great deal of harm to Vader, his breathing slows and he begins to turn back into Anakin Skywalker. The Death Star begins to fall apart - sirens blaring and crew members frantic. Vader asks Luke to remove his helmet. Luke resists, saying Vader will die without it, but eventually does so because his father wants to see him with his own eyes. Luke takes his father back to Endor where he is burned in a ceremonial funeral fire. The Ewoks and Rebel Alliance join in a celebration, for the Dark Side of the force is no more. Luke glances over, after being congratulated and welcomed by Leia, to see the spirits of Obi-Wan, Yoda, and their father, Anakin Skywalker smiling on them. Luke was now a real Jedi and a real hero, like his father before him.

Star Wars Episode 7

(Disclaimer: I got this plot summary from a source that is not necessarily trustworthy. This is strictly a possible plot.)

Synopsis:

In a galaxy far, far away . . . It has now been 40 years since the battle on Endor. Han and Lando are now in their seventies. Luke, Leia, and Luke's wife, Mara Jade, are in their sixties. Han and Leia have grandchildren and Luke and Mara have a son, Jhon. The remains of the Empire are almost diminished, except for some new enemies known as the Dark Jedi. Many Jedi training stations have gone up around the galaxy, including on Cloud City. The Dark Jedi invade on Bespin wearing jet packs and a similar uniform to Darth Vader's, in memory of their old lord. The attack was not to destroy, but to capture the Jedi's holocrons that hold information of the Jedi's ancient ways and customs. Their plans are spoiled when they find that the holocrons are encrypted. Meanwhile, a cloning plan is taking place - the cloning of Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. They are doing this in order to complete what Darth Vader had destined - that he and Luke would rule the galaxy as father and son. In order to do this, the Dark Jedi are collecting samples of DNA from Vader (I'm not sure how?) and DNA from Luke's severed hand, which is owned by chief Dark Jedi Spiden. Spiden decided to leak the cloning information to both the Imperials and the Rebels. He hopes the leader of the Dark Jedi will be removed so that he can take the position. Now, both the New Republic and the Raveron plan to intercept the Dark Jedi comet, which is base to the cloning facilities. Spiden contacts Luke, letting him know that he has "something" that Luke might want (his hand), and arranges for them to meet in a volcanic cavern on Sluivan. Spiden tells Luke of the cloning plan and initiates a duel in which the winner takes the hand. Despite Luke's age, he is still a very strong Jedi and is able to take back what is his. Plans to destroy the Dark Jedi comet are being made by the New Republic, as the Raverons plan to capture the cloning facilities. The Dark Jedi become aware that they are the be attacked and the direction of the comet to crash into a Sluivan moon within 15 minutes. The Dark Jedi place the clones onto a ship and prepare to escape, leaving the attacking Raverons and Republic to die in the crash. The Republic learn of the "collision course" and leave the comet, but the Raverons try to redirect the course. Failing, the comet crashes and the Raverons are destroyed. Even though the Dark Jedi cloning facility is gone, the Republic is unaware of the preserved and growing clones.
